On a sharepoint site; a document library can display thumbnails by locally
right clicking and customizing this folder for pictures (best for many
files), then right click again and set for thumbnails. Works fine locally
but needs to be set on every computer this way. Any way to set the settings
for the site so it opens the same on every computer?

Suggest you ask in a WSS newsgroup
