Greetings,

When you Compress Zip (using XP Pro native zip program) a file or folder you
lose the thumbnail picture. This is annoying especially for photos where the
tiny picture on the outside of the file is quite useful for identification
purposes. Is there any way around this?

TIA

Didn't work but thanks anyway. The files are mainly jpg,wmv.avi. and still
have generic symbol on front of thumbnail.Even the folder/directory
containing the photos has turned to plain folder (had 4 pictures on it
previously). The "properties" of these files no longer has option to
customise external appearance.Must be a Zip thing??
