Thumbnail View Acting Strange

L

Len

When I open folders containg image files (.jpg, .tif, etc)
and select thumbnail view, the thumbnails are very small.
I have to do a 'refresh' for the thumnails to
appear 'normal', i.e. fill the frame.

Also, sometimes, certain thumbnails don't load at all in
thumbnail view, only the file 'icon'. Again, 'refresh',
brings up the 'normal' sized thumbnail.

Seems to happen intermittently, and with different files
each time, from one folder opening to the next.

What is keeping the thumbnails from opening normally on a
consistent basis ?

thanks

Len,

No idea what's causing this, but you may try deleting the Iconcache.db in the folder(s). Also, type this command from Start/Run:

REGSVR32 SHIMGVW.DLL
