Start in List or Details view. Now while holding down the shift key select the
view for either thumbnails or filmstrip to turn on name display
or
Right click the folder and then while holding down the shift key click on Open.
The file and folder names should now be displayed if they weren't before or if
they were being displayed, they now won't be displayed.
