Three digit commas separator

How can I setup Excel to show a comma every three digits like it used to be
in 2003? Right now it only shows the first comma after three digits.

What should 1234 look like

What should 12345 look like

And 123456

And 12345678

Thousands separator is set under Format>Cells>Number>Number

Enable would display 1,234 12,345 123,456 12,345,678

can u tell me how to format a cell for figure 12345678 to be shown as
1,23,45,678.00 i. e. Indian style of numbering
