Perhaps there is some truth in what you say.
Someone able to see reasonably clear and not blinded by prejudice.
But no business of any kind would or should hire someone so blindly
prejudiced against so much of what the business does.
No business would want association with someone who needs to insult to
validate a point.
Further no business would want someone who makes accusations such as
liar etc with no proof.

The critics would love Microsoft to hire such a person, a quick easy
lawsuit for slander to start and continuing from there.
The problems of any business would most likely escalate with little
of value in return.

No, no...Just keep him at home and have him send in reports.
When Kurt is on a roll, he is second to none for conciseness and insightful,
out-of-box thinking. As you may recall, many companies' IT departments hire
"reformed" crackers to prevent future intrusions. In some cases, these
individuals are convicted criminals! They make Kurt look like Triumph the
Insult Comic Dog by comparison.

You've almost got me convinced T. but then I'm not on the MS BOD.

A key word you used is "reformed".
Until that happens, a person is of no value to the business.

I'm a reformed smoker. Two weeks in 4 more hours.

And I really want a cigarette!

That is a great start.
Now keep it going another 2 weeks.
Then add another month etc.
You squash that a little at a time until the time that seemed impossible at
first is years.

I've stopped smoking for four years in the 90's. And I'll probably will
smoke again some time in the future, after my lungs clean up some.

I stopped for 4 years myself, think it was in the late 80's.

Now, I I know I should , but I just cannot see myself stopping anytime soon.
Been through too much lately, and I actually enjoy it as well...

I stopped smoking 47 years ago, although I did take a puff
or two about 40 years ago.

Last pack of cigarettes I bought was 25 cents, a carton was
$2. I smoked Marlboro because the cowboy was "cool" but I
quit because I couldn't afford to buy ammunition and
cigarettes and hunting season was opening. When I was 11,
doves and squirrels were more important than acting "adult
by smoking."

That may have been the first time a gun saved my life.

If you have half the the strength to quit as you use in the newsgroups, you
would clearly never smoke again and you would be better for it.
The question is do you have the strength?

Kurt hang in there, I quit 6 years ago at age 60, after smoking
for 45 years. It really does get better.

significant mod that would make you have to reactivate.
