Can anyone suggest a *really* good book on threading.
No million pages.
No Deitel & Deitel type would-be clever examples.

Must actually get round to "finishing" it some time (by which I mean
getting rid of all the TBDs, and waiting for the next lot to arrive)...
I have downloaded your text. By the way printing
isn't so successful because the green comments
don't come out very well.

Oops - I'll fix that up. I meant to use a different CSS for the
printable version than for the normal one - a grey-scale one with very
light backgrounds for the code/background.

Shouldn't take long...
