THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER

When running a virus scan or trying to clean up the files
usinf "Accessories-System Tools-Disk Cleanup" my
computer shots down each time and restarts (sending a
message to Microsoft each time)

The erro message reads: -Error Message: STOP 0x000000EA
THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER (Q293078)

The prcisie file where it kicks me out is: -
c:\CDs\XP Pro\1386\DRIVER.CAB
OR IS IT c:\CDs\XP ProV386\DRIVER.CAB

Any Ideas?
