this site's email notification

anyone else noting that the email notification for this site is always going
to a blank page?

If I start a thread; the email notification of a reply contains a link that
does not work.

I find that if I replied to someone elses question (and did not originate
the thread), and then there is another reply that the email notification link
to the thread works fine.

You may find that using a newsreader like Outlook Express or Windows Mail,
or Free Agent, works better for you. Without any doubt, any of them will be
faster and provide easier search capability.

well this one worked...so it made a liar out of me....I initiated the thread,
received a "there is a reply" email - and clicked on the link in the
email......last few months it always went to a blank white page....but worked
this time....

I think it will work reliably...

if it would embarrass or upset you if it does so.

Wouldn't count on it otherwise.

I've been having the same problem for a long time and accidently just
stumbled upon an answer. Although those links are to the right place, one
needs to be logged on to the site in order for them to work. If you go to the
Communities site first and log on then the link will open properly. I'm
wondering if using the "Save my email and password" option would eliminate
having to do this but I haven't tried that yet.
