This server could not verify that you are authorized to access.
Either you supplied the wrong credentials(e.g., bad password), or your
browser doesn't understand how to supply the credentials required.
This is the result after my router asked for login credentials, but I
cancelled out. I am NOT trying to access my router.
This home network configuration has been working for lots of years.
Cable Modem with Lynksys BEFSR41 Router.
Three Windows XP systems all with current updates.
One PC runs Apache 2 and has three domains on it. Port forwarding for
port 80 to the PC with a fixed IP.
I use a DNS service to manage DNS issues.
Recently, when I use the browser on any computer in the network, instead
of getting the domain, it tries to log into the router.
If I put entries into the .../etc/HOST file to route the domain to
localhost, then it all seems to work (I can access the domains)
People accessing the domains from outside my home network access the
domains just as they always have.
I flushed the Windows DNS cache.
I have give up on troubleshooting this. I even swapped out the router.
I am looking for suggestions on a troubleshooting approach.
