this MSI must be launched through setup

I have recently upgraded from norton internet security 2006 to NIS 2007 and
after about a week starting to get these messages upon startup.... MSRedist
please wait while Windows configures MSRedist , and Setup This MSI must be
launched through setup OK . Can anyone please tell me what these messages
mean and what to do . Plumbpete

Unfortunately, it means that NIS 2007 has messed up again. You might fix it
by uninstalling, and reinstalling NIS.
