This message cannot be sent from my outbox

The power went down when I was in the middle of creating/sending an email.
The email shows up in the outbox and when I try to send it I get the message
"The message could not be sent an error has occurred". I tried to delete
this email from the outbox and get this error message "an unknown error has
occurred". This email will not send or delete and when I try to send other
emails, this email stops the send process, so I can't send any emails.

thanks in advance

Joe

Hi, Joe.

This "message stuck in the Outbox" problem is surely the MOST FAQ for
Windows Mail. It's one of the main reasons that many users (including
myself) switched to Windows Live Mail long ago.

Microsoft published a fix for this nearly a year ago:
Messages may be stuck in the Outbox when you use Windows Mail on a computer
that is running Windows Vista
