This machine only rule Outlook 2003

I access multiple POP3 accounts via Outlook 2003.

I would like emails from one each account to go into a separate folder.

When I use the Rules Wizard to create a rule I select 'through the specified
account' and Outlook automatically ticks 'on this machine only'.

Any rules that have 'on this machine only' ticked do not work. How do I get
around this?

TIA

Ian.

That setting usually works fine. You can remove the "on this machine only"
if you like.

It will not allow me to uncheck the 'on this machine only' setting unless I
first uncheck 'through the specified account'.

Yeah - seems they work I tandem. Many use that rule and don't have an issue
with it. I use it and have 'on this machine only' checked.
