This Is Spam/This Is Not Spam Buttons

A few days ago we noticed the two spam buttons on our toolbar are gone. We
have not been able to get them back.

Spam in our inbox could be removed to Spam folder by clicking the "This is
Spam" button. Items sent to the Spam folder could be allowed by clicking
"This is not Spam".

Neither option seems available any longer.

This is not a native Outlook option. You will need to check with the add-in
you are using for that. Without any details it is hard to help you.

last follow up...i see now that the buttons have reappeared. we closed our
outlook program and reopened. the buttons appear on separate line with
references to norton antivirus (the "add-in" to which you refer, i presume).
thank you for your willingness to attempt to help.

Yep, there you go :) An add-in is a program that uses another program in
order to run. In most cases it extends the functionality of the host
application.
