I have a .jpg that I'd like to use on my org's site. I'd like it to fill the

it's a vector image that'll stretch in that way. flash would do it.

What if I put it in a table and made the background color the same as the
background of the .jpg? That would be close to the same effect, wouldn't it?

You really don't want a jpg to stretch like that ... it would/will look
horrible! So the answer is NOPE!

it's about the best you can hope for. If the picture is pretty big as it is
it'll fill out OK. I think what you're talking about is something like
www.nedp.net/newh/vegas


I have flash but I just can't get into how to "do it". I'm assuming you'd
change the jpg to a vector and then make an .swf out of it. call it to the
page with % settings it does the rest. ;-)

you can, but the image won't stretch. use your color picker to sample part of the image and use that color for cell or table bg.

Yes, alot like that. I may have to try something else. It seemed like a good
idea at first but maybe it's just too much work for that particular project.
I have a simpler idea in mind. Won't be as eye catching but the information
will still get out and that's what's important, right?

Oh well, it seemed like an option. I'd rather try something else that
