Hopefully someone has seen this before! I recently reformatted and reloaded
xp pro on both of my hard drives after a very bad experince with sp2! It was
the reason I needed to reformat, as I had set the drives up with raid, and it
partitioned my main 120g at the slaves 40g! I did this on a soyo KT333 dragon
ultra platinum mobo, and I recently upgraded to an asus A7V8X-X mobo! All was
ok with the setup except for this one thing! In the specs you will see that I
have two soyo removable harddrives, and my bootdrive is labeled G! And to
sweeten the deal, I am having probs with the 120g being recognized, as one
minute it is there, and the next its not! Prior to reformatting and reloading
OS, these problems didn't exist! I even went so far as to erase the drives
again and reload OS again, and I got the same results! the worst part of it
all is the soyo drives are set as c and d, with the main boot drive
recognized as g, and as we all know, you cant change that drives letter in
xp! Now for the frustrating part! I do not have these soyo drives the system
is telling me I have, and I have no idea why they showed up on these
installs! I have built a few systems, and fixed alot of sick ones, bit for
the life of me, this one has got me totally stumped! I would appreciate any
feedback from anyone who has a slight idea as to how I should go about fixin
this! Thanks!

Hmm!! I see that no one out there has approached my particular problem! This is interresting, as I see many other requests for help that were submitted after mine being addressed, but no one has even attempted to look into mine! I really could use the help of some of you oldtimers out there, as I am familiar with a few of you from past searches for answers on this site! I have gleaned alot from your knowledge, and I look forward to one of you stepping up to the challenge I am presenting to you with this bizzare set of circumstances I am experiancing! I look forward to any input you may have, and if it works, I will dance at your wedding! Thanks!
