what does msv.exe do anyways????

ZoneAlarm keeps on telling me it wants to access the
internet - filesize is 10kb - anyone have any comments?

Also - Symantec LiveUpdate doesn't work - and I can't goto
symantec.com OR microsoft.com directly =/
