Thin Client question

I have an extra, new thin client available to me. I don't have the brand in
front of me but it is diskless.... The question is can I put this to any use
on my home peer to peer network with static IP dsl using dhcp and nat? All
my pc's are XP-pro. The use I had in mine was simply browsing the net. But
then no os and no way of handling cache or a browser.....
Or do I have access simply to an interesting bookend?

It's an empty shell, without an OS it cannot be configured for the network.
With a disk and an OS, it could be used for surfing the web however, I'm not
sure what that would accomplish. If there is no firewall and no router,
using this client as the front end for surfing would still leave your entire
network naked and with a firewall and router, you'd really have no need for
such a front end.
