I think that if you aren't done with a Word document and you don't have
access to a floppy disk or CD or something, and as an alternative to emailing
the document to yourself, Microsoft Word (or even Office) should also be
entirely online. You could start typing your document on Word online and
finish it online when you get to another computer. Of course, there should be
a membership account, but for free.

I'd think that the boys and girls in Redmond are working on it - not so much for
our convenience, but for total/complete control over distribution of and billing
for use of the product.
