On my XP home edition I have my theme, sound theme, mouse pointer set as I
like them, but about once an hour the machine reverts to a totally different
set of settings than I want. I've gone so far as to have an Icon to correct
it with a few less clicks, but it is still a great pain. Help?

To repair all system files, go to Start/Run, and type: SFC /SCANNOW
