Themes not showing up on web site

I use a web site that has FrontPage extensions, so I work online to edit my
web pages. When I am editing my themes, and theme elements in FrontPage,
they show up properly on the web pages that I am editing.

When I go to the web page using my browser, they aren't there. The pages
all have white backgrounds.

When I look at the file structure on the Web site, there is a folder called
"_themes" in the root directory. It has folders with the names of the
various themes in it.

Then I took a look at the code for one of the web pages where the theme does
not appear. It is in a different folder than the "_themes" folder. Here is
the code:

<meta name="Microsoft Theme" content="bubbles 1011">

I started thinking to myself, " How does it know where to find the elements
of the theme, since there is no folder designation in the code?"

I should also mention that I believe I reorganized my folder structure on
the web site and may have moved the files which do not display the themes
from the root directory, to subdirectories of the root directory. At one
time, all of the pages were displaying properly with the proper themes. I am
not sure if it was after my web site reorganization that this problem
occurred.

FP stores the theme info in it's meta data and reads the META tag to decide which theme to find and apply to the saved page
Reapply the theme to the page (making sure you select the Background image option) and save it, then run a Tools Recalculate
Hyperlinks

Stefan,

I did what you suggested with one page, but I think it was the "Tools
Recalculate hyperlinks" that did the trick because all of the pages that had
the problem are now correctly displaying the proper theme without having to
reapply the theme. Thanks very much for your advice.

My theme is also not showing up on the website. I'm not very knowledgeable
in Frontpage so if someone can break it down in simple terms for me that
would be great. I tried using the advice from the previous post, but it
didn't work for me. As soon as I try to view it online it is an all white
background. Please help!
