Theme changes/reverts every reboot

Hi, I have an Acer Ferrari 4005 laptop (I highly recommend!) and they loaded
a default desktop theme in Windows. Problem is, every time I try to change
the wallpaper or other settings in the theme, after I reboot, the default
Ferrari theme loads up again.
Where are the settings for me to turn off this reloading of the Acer theme?

Do you know your way around windows pretty well? If you do, the first
thing i do when i get a machine that is custom installed is uninstall
EVERYTHING that THEY loaded on there. By the looks of it there is some
custom software they loaded on there that is making sure that their
theme is dominant on your system.

I could reload it, but I'm trying to avoid that if possible. I'm trying to
find if there's a registry tweak I can do to solve the problem, because I
really don't have any other gripes as far as the configuration.

I fixed it!
I went to Run>msconfig.exe and found that there was a theme file in startup.
Worked like a charm.

What i would do then, is click "Start >> Run" and type "msconfig" ...
under the "Startup" tab is all the software that is run when windows
starts. Looking down the list, pay close attention to the paths in the
"Command" group, especially ones that are in abvious directories like
"C:\acer" or anything like that which might be apps that are preventing
you from making theme changes.

Apart from uninstalling or disabling these apps, it looks like youre
reinstalling. But when you reinstall, be careful not to load on this
software again
