"The "'z" enter" Vista Error

When i use the numpad on my vista the computer glitches and i constantly have
the computer typing: "'z" (enter button)

how can i fix this? so far it only stops when i turn off my computer.
 
Desktop or laptop ?
Desktop - tried a new keyboard ?
Laptop - plug in a usb keyboard and see if problem persists.

sounds much more like a hardware issue with your keyboard than a vista error
