Hey remember a while ago we were talking about the W with the missing upper left arm missing?

I just changed my system display properties/text to Arial, and I notice that the upper left arm of W's (mostly if capitalized) in IE address window and other placed too...is broken. So I'm thinkin' now that it has/had nothing to do with FP, or cell padding in tables.

curious.

I has to do with placement of that character on the left 'margin' of its
container. Indenting it away (using CSS padding) will do the trick.

No...not talking about web stuff now.

This was prompted by the web problem..but what I'm saying is since switching system font to Arial I now see the missing part of the W on system items...like in the IE address box...and some other places. Iwas thinking this might have been a system font problem not a web design/FP prob.
