The text in an email doesn't appear until you hit reply?

Tired of blank email

I have sent and received email where the text in the email doesn't show up
unless you hit reply or forward.
The subject line appears.
Not all email shows up blank just about a 1/3 of them.

Do these messages have anything in common, like the format? Do you have
your antivirus program configured to scan incoming messages? If you do,
uninstall it and reinstall it without the mail scanning feature. You will
still be just as protected.
 
You can try changing the Outlook mail format to either one of HTML, Rich Test
or Plain Text. I believe its becuase of the mail format not being supported
by your Outlook.

I should have put this as a question?
Does anyone know how to fix this problem?
 
I had my format set as HTML and changed it to plain text.
I sent a test and it appears to have worked.
