the system doesnt tutn off automatically after shut down

hello
i have an old computer
cpu 550mhz
hd 80
ram 256 mb
svga s3
motherboard soyo sy-133

i used till now win98se
and the system after shut down tutn off automatically

i formated my system and i istalled xp pro

the system works perfect but
now when i shut down the system stop at the last screen "your sustem shut
down..."
and doent tutn off automatically

do i have to change smtng in bios????
