Previously we are using windows98 / windows95 with outlook 98 in our branch
office, the email server is in the head office and the leased line bandwidth
is 128K
Everything is become crazy slow after we upgrade all the hardware from old
Pentium II to Pentium 4, and upgrade the OS to windows XP, and the mail
client to Outlook 2003
I try to put back one of the old workstation with old OS and old outlook
client, eveything seem smoothly again.
So does it means windows XP is bad that it must working in high speed branch
office ? the windows XP generate too much network traffic then the older OS
?
any expert can help me ?
I really feed up with the microsoft produt
