The server did not register with DCOM

I keep getting this error in the event viewer. I have windows xp pro sp2
The server is not listed in the registry keys. Is there any way to add it?

This question is very vague. Can you please state what exactly the error
massage reads (as best you can). And what exactly is happening/are you
doing - when you get these messages. Please re-post with your answers.

Sorry it's so vague, this is at the limit of my expertise.
I am running a web-based game program. It used to run fine, but I think a
registry key got deleted. Now when I run the program, nothing happens
however I get this error in the event viewer:

Event ID 10010
Source DCOM
User NT AUTHORITY/NETWORK SERVICE
The server {1F87137D-0E7C-44D5-8C73-4EFFB68962F2} did not register with DCOM
within the required timeout.

Reinstall the game.

Is the DCOM Process Launcher Service even running? If it's not running then
that might be the place to start.

If it is running, is the game running under different credentials than the
current user or the credentials that DCOM is using?
