Windows XP The repeat is missing in my keyboard

Hello:
I am using a home builded pc with Windows XP Pro SP2. The keyboard is a dynex one. Since a week ago the repeat keystroke is gone. I check in control panel, everything looks fine. So I need some help to recover the repreat keystroke. Thanks.
