The Real Messenger

I know that Windows Messenger (the instant messaging
application similar to MSN Messenger) and the
Windows "messenger service" are not the same. Can someone
point me to some documentation that describes what the
executables are for these two beasts? For example, which
one is msmsgs.exe?

You should know that there are 3 messenger systems:

1) Windows Messenger
2) MSN Messenger
3) Windows Messenger service.
