I'm a little perplessed, the scan found an High Risk
Spyware on my c:\windows\system32 folder:
CoolWebSearch
Type: Browser Hijacker
Threat Level: Severe
Author: CoolWebSearch.com

The file is tapicfg.exe.
How is it possible? It's a Microsoft program, I just
controlled it and it's the real one from Microsoft.

Any comment about?

Thanks,
Marcello

Thanks for reply.
I don't have any entry on my regedit about tapicfg, any
site redirect, any syntoms described on this site.
My host file is intact, I don't have the tapicfg.exe in my
task manager, only the real one from microsoft in the
system32 folder.

Thanks,
Marcello

If you are running 2003 Server then it is a false positive
since the file is a real Microsoft file. It may also be
on 2000 server. Don't know for sure.

Ignore it and report it to Microsoft.
