The print spooler service is not running

I have a two PC network. They share an internet connection and a printer. The
host is wired, the other gains access by a usb wireless adapter. I can print
from the host, but not from the client. When I attempt to print, I get the
following message: Printer properties cannot be displayed. The print spooler
service is not running.

Both PCs are running XP Professional.

Thanks

Click start|run| type services.msc. scroll down to print spooler. Select it.
On left side click start or restart.

Thanks Beb. The instructions were so simple and straight forward that I
thought I had the problem licked, but when I attempted to print o Word
document, I got the following message: Window cannot print due to a problem
with the current printer setup.
