The patch package could not be opened.

Just installed a new drive C use the seagre clone software. Most all is
ok But MS office gives a now installing error (even though it has
worked for years). So I put in the install CD for office and get the
screen shot shown. "the patch package could not be opened" I am sure
something did not transfer with the cloning process. jpeg error 1, is
what I get when I try to open office error2, jpeg comes next and patch
error is what I get when I try to reinstall office. This is windows XP
home sp2. Spent much time on MS web site what looks like t might help
scars me and the fear is to make it worse. Any help???

You nailed it ran the file did an office reinstall and it works just
great. I hope this is the only issue from cloning and installing the
new C drive previous issue I lost my restore point capabiltys it just
gave me erros so I will sleep more sound tonight. They make this
"cloning" of a drive sound so simple but it is far from 100% accurate.
