For the past week I have not been able to access my credit
card site mycard.fleet.com I deleted all my cookies,
cleared all my internet files, ran spybot and
adaware, contacted the bank. and Comcast my service
provider all to no avail. It is the only site that gives
me a problem, I am running Zone Alarm and Norton Anti
virus, tried disabling them, didn't help. Checked and
unchecked various protocols in tools-internet options-
advanced, checked the hosts file for extra entries and
still nothing. I have XP Home Edition and IE 6. I even
tried installing Opera but when I entered the address in
it I got a popup message saying Network Error, Any
suggestions would be gratefully appreciated since this is
really starting to tick me off.

Check C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc for a file named HOSTS with no
extension. (Not Hosts.sam)
Make sure Windows is set to show hidden files and folders and is NOT set to
hide extensions for known file types.
If HOSTS exists, rename it to HOSTS.OLD
Reboot an try again.

Or, In a Cmd window, enter
ipconfig /flushdns
then clear your TIF also, and re-boot.
