Susan Saurage-Altenloh

Message occurs any time I attempt to add an appointment
to my outlook using a web-based product (Cvent, E-vite).
Result is that I can't add the appointment via
automation, but must manually enter each one.

No attachment or recurring appointment is involved,
though, which seems to be what causes the problem in
other MS FAQs. What should I do?

I'm presuming that you're opening a .vcs file? I know that's what Evite
uses....if you save the file, can you open it from wherever you saved it to?

I had the same problem as Susan Saurage-Altenloh had.
If I save the vcs file first, I can open it.
But if I try to open it without saving it, I get the error message.
I asked several people in our offce to open the same file without
saving it, but I am the only one who gets the error message.
Everyone uses Outlook 2002.
Please help me!
