hi all,
i'm having a problemo with networking i think, the problem is that i cannot
connect to some computers on my "small office" network, all other comps have
no problem, but mine is different.

I've spent a lot of time while messing with network setup wizard, tride to
configure all ip settings manualy, the workgroup is the same, windows and
nortonz worm protection is off, when i ping the network location by its ip
adress, it coresponds, when by name it gives me error - check the name and
try again ..., and also when trying to access the location by adrees i.e
\\x.x.x.x (ip) windows opens the target comps shares, but when accesing by
name i.e \\computer it gives error : the network path was not found. when
using comand "net view" it showes all comps names on the net, but cannot ping
by names...

the net config is as it is on all other computers except ip adress of corse,
already tried winsockfix.exe - didn't help..

i'm so desperate, any help, tip or advice or goto wuld be very useful, thanx
in advance.
