The My Comptuer icon is missing

I have no idea how this happened, but the My Computer icon
is gone from my Windows XP desktop. I did a search for
all files/folders and it wasn't there. How do I get
another one?
 
Hi

Right click on the Desktop, select Properties and then the 'Desktop' tab. Then click on the 'Customise Desktop...' button and make sure that My Computer is checked.

Open up display properties. On the desktop tab select customize desktop and
put a check next to my computer. That should restore it for you.
