Hi

Outlook hangs and I receive the following message in the event log.

The MOF file created for the Outlook service could not be loaded. The error
code returned by the MOF Compiler is contained in the Record Data. Before
the performance counters of this service can be collected by WMI the MOF
file will need to be loaded manually. Contact the vendor of this service for
additional information.

Uninstalled and reinstalled outlook to no avail.

Please help

Pierre

I am not sure, is there a way to disable the adins while you can not open
outlook? Not even in safe mode.

Than You

Pierre

The offending application was WinFax Pro ver. 10

Thank you for your help

Pierre

Thanks for letting us know - the error comes up in Google but no one reports
the offending app.

I'm having the same problem with Outlook 2003 hanging and receiving the following message

The MOF file created for the Outlook service could not be loaded. The error code returned by the MOF Compiler is contained in the Record Data. Before the performance counters of this service can be collected by WMI the MOF file will need to be loaded manually.

I uninstalled and installed Outlook 2003. That hasn't helped. I don't see winfax pro as the problem. Anything else I should look for?

Thanks

Sojo
