I use outlook2003 to send some mails successfully, ordinarily the mails in
Outbox will be removed automatically, but in my OUTLOOK,it doesn't.

What's wrong?

Are the items being sent at all? Normally they should get removed from the
Outbox when they're sent correctly

Thank you for your reply,Vince.
The items have been sent correctly, because the recipient got the email.

Put Outlook in offline mode. Exit and reload Outlook. Delete the
items in the Outbox. Put Outlook back in online mode. Do items still
get stuck in your Outbox when you send new messages? If so, disable
any anti-spam software you have installed and test again. This
includes e-mail scanning by your anti-virus software. You could also
try running Outlook in its safe mode ("outlook.exe /safe") which will
not load any add-ons when Outlook starts.
