Delete mail from Outbox

Jaime Rodríguez

Hello all,

I have a mail in my outbox (hotmail thru outlook 2003) and due to its large
attachment size (13mb) it can't be send. The thing is everytime i open
Outlook it always try to send this mail and delays all other things like
downloading my mails or send my mails. I tried to delete this mail from
outbox but it doesn't get deleted and always tries to send. Tried to delete
clicking on the (X) and right-clicking and nothing happens. How do i delete
this mail from my outbox?? It's getting kinda annoying.

Thanks in advance,
JR.

Click File and check Work Offline. Stop and restart Outlook. Delete the
message. Click File and uncheck Work Offline. Stop and Restart Outlook.

Did you check to ensure that Outlook was completely closed? (Use Task Manager to kill any resident outlook.exe instances.)

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. All
unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without
reading.

Hello,

Thanks, it worked (Method 3), but when i set the original pst-file as
default as you sugested, it deleted my pop/smtp account, but i solved it
setting it again and now everything works just as smooth as i wanted it to
be, no more mail-in-outbox-stucking-outlook....
