the jpg saves as bmp question

The jpgs are saving as bmp. IE 5.0 under Win 98 used to
do this once in a while. I am using IE 6.0 and XP Home.

Seems to be doing it every time. Reboot does not help.
Can someone point me to a KB article or web page?

Found a KB article that suggests deleting temp files and
internet program files....will try that.

Deleted the internet temp files.....the program files
folder was already empty. Anyway the problem is fixed.

Problem with that is, he just changes his name and shifts to another e-mail
address. So far, I know of 3 and suspect at least another.
