The installation design is awful

Whoever wrote the installer must have been a rookie WI
developer. This install won't validate, much like many
other MS installations, it breaks almost every AppSpec
rule for component design. Why do you guys keep releasing
installations like this when you wrote the technology?

Possibly because they bought the technology that another company has
developed, and part of the purpose of this beta is to integrate that product
into a released Microsoft product, with the help of feedback from a large
group of users?

Thanks for the post--Microsoft reads these groups, and bugs are being filed
and work done on the product based on feedback here.
