The future's bright, the future's - red, black and white

I see that SAF is talking about wanting to sign Ruud up for an extra 3 years
on top of the contract that he already has at Utd so keeping him at Utd
until he's 33 - another 6 years.

Then Peter Kenyon is talking about wanting to sign SAF up on a rolling
contract so that he won't need to sign another contract with Utd again - the
one he's on will just automatically extend for another year at the end of
each season should SAF want to carry on.

Add in that SAF is already talking about wanting to match Sir Bobby Robson's
being a manager into his 70's and it doesn't really bode that well for our
rivals. does it?

If he does work 'til he's 70 I would expect Utd to win at least another 6
titles - as well as other trophies, too - in that time.

I wonder how the 'dippers will cope with us hitting 20 or 21 titles while
they're still stuck on 18?

=)

Utd and proud of it.
