The DOORS DB Server 7.0 00001 service terminated with service-specific error 1

Hi,

I've been trying to automate a DOORS 7.0 client w/Training
DB through Novell's ZenWorks. The DOORS 7.0 client push
without the Training DB works fine, but when we created a
new "snapshot" that included the Training DB and tested
it, we received this error: "The DOORS DB Server 7.0 00001
service terminated with service-specific error 1".
Obviously, the error is caused by the service not
starting, but we can't figure out why the service isn't
starting. Thanks in advance for any assistance you can
provide.

is it an msi app? id recommend against doing snappshot with it, just use the
prepackager & create an mst.

have you checked out novell's support forums, especially the ones for
zenworks?

Thanks for the advice. I haven't checked Novell's support
forums yet, but I will. It is a .msi app, how can I get
the "prepackager" to use it?

most apps will usually have an administrative prepackager where you can
create the mst in, or you can even use ms' orca or wininstallle 2003.
