The document could not be saved

Thank you CS, the folder is not read only or hidden. To
save files from other application such as MS word, Notpad,
or Acrobat, there is no problem to this folder. I can
creat new subfolder or new file in this folder, and I can
delete file in this folder too, nothing abnormal except
save PDF files from website. I can save word or html from
website to this folder. Like D:\my folder\sub folder one\,
but I can not save PDF file from website to this folder.
However I can save PDF from online to other folder such as
D:\my other folder\sub folder one\.
Here is the phenomena:

1. The hard disk have 39 GB left.
2. I can save online other type files such as DOC files to
the same folder D:\my folder\sub folder one\*.doc
3. I can save same online PDF file to other folders in the
same drive. D:\my other folder\sub folder one\*.pdf
4. I can save or copy both PDF and DOC files to this
folder from File Explorer, other application includes
acrobat, not from website, http://www.pdffiles.com/*.pdf
5. To check this folder's properties, there is no
difference found from other folders.
6. When I copy the folder to another computer, the same
problem happens on another computer. That is so funny.
7. When I create a new folder at peer position, the new
folder have no problem. But if the new folder use the
similiar name old name plus a number, such as OLDNAME001,
the problem happens to the new folder. If I create a new
subfolder, no matter what name I use, Problem happens.

I believe there is a temporary file to use when save a
online PDF file, but that file is being used, however, no
matter how I restart the computer, nothing improved.

Can you help me thanks

When I open a online PDF file, I click the disk icon to
save the file, I got the message " The document could not
be saved, the disk were saving to or the disk used for
temporary files is full. Free some space on this disk and
try again, or save to a different disk"
1. The hard disk have 39 GB left.
2. I can save online other type files such as DOC files to
the same folder
3. I can save same online PDF file to other folders in the
same drive.
4. I can save both PDF and DOC files to this folder from
File Explorer, not from website.
5. To check this folder's properties, there is no
difference found from other folders.

I have tried IE and Netscape, both got same problem. So I
think it is XP system problem.

Is there anyone can help me

Make sure the path you're trying to save the PDF file is a
good path
and is not a read only or hidden folder. By default, on
line PDF
files are usually saved to =
c:\documents and settings\your profile\my documents

Hi George:

Which web site are you trying to save the files from? Can you give
me an example of which PDF file(s) in particular that you're trying to
save?
