The "click" sound has disappeared

A "click" sound heard when any link is clicked on any given page coming
through the speakers has disappeared. Everything works fine, but I'd like to
get that "click" sound back. All other audio is heard and plays normally.
Thanks.

Go to Start...Settings...Control Panel...Sounds...Sounds tab. Scroll down
to the Windows Explorer section, click to select Start Navigation. Then in
the Sounds drop down menu, IIRC, select start.wav. Click the little arrow
next to the drop down menu box to check if that's the correct sound. If so,
then click Apply, Okay. Do the same for the Complete Navigation entry, if
you'd like (done.wav).

If the sounds are missing altogether, download the IE sound pack -
http://www1.iwvisp.com/download/Windows/Browser/Internet Evplorer/ie4sp2/IE4SOUND.CAB

Unzip the .cab file (using WinZip or equiv.) into an empty folder, then
right click the .inf file and install to replace any missing files.
