The best undelete freeware to recover all my HD files ...

Hi Guys,

I deleted all my files for a HD - apporoximately 2.5 gb of data assuming I
have already made the data DVD of it.

Anyways,

I am looking for the best freeware alternatively (OT: shareware) tool to
recover all the files / data.

I haven't saved or copied any data to this HD since deleting.

Do not use the PC more than absolute nescessary so that deleted files are
not overwritten.

So, on another PC, download Resotration on one of the following links:

REST2514.EXE 193 KB

Put the program on a floppy or USB removeable disk, and run the program
from there, and also undelete to the removeable disk:

Restoration
Restore files which are deleted from the recycle bin by mistake.
[OS] Windows 95 Windows 98 Windows Me Windows NT Windows 2000
Windows XP
Freeware

This program worked well in the v2.0. I think it went shareware and then flip
flopped back to freeware in the present v3.0.

Thanks mate!!

Unlike its uggly user interface I found Restoration very powerful ... it
found the things I have deleted but undeleting them in the way it works
is make it impossible. I have deleted about 2.5 Gega bites.

I have already downloaded File Recovery that REM recommends ... it works the
way I want but it didn't find all the files and folders I have deleted
though Restoration found ...

Any other recommendations ...

I use it too, but only version 1.0 was freeware; it has gone shareware
now :-( Dont' know, where still to get the 1.0, so I can't give you a link.

Version 1 is still available to download from www.handyrecovery.com
Click the download tag, at the bottom of the download page is the link
for version 1, which is freeware.
