The back button does not work all the time since a new update installed.

The back button does not work all the time even if it is highlited(green arrow). A new Windows update was installed and since then whe I surf and want to go back the back button will do nothing. The Internet Explorer options cache is set for each time going to website search for new pages. The back button on mouse is the same way.
 
Which Windows update did you install? And which version of Internet Explorer are you using?
 
I have a similiar problem after XP SP2 RC1... my back button throws me to the source of the previous page. It happens all the time on eBay, but now I've noticed it on other sites as well

A refresh will display the page correctly, but it's really annoying.
