I guess I don't explain myself well, I want the cell to contain the value
and the arrow. I don't want to use a separate cell for the arrow, as I'll
have many columns of data over a long period of time. I know this wasn't my
original question, I appreciate your help. You don't have to bother
answering this post....Thanks again!
 
Keep in the original thread, we have no idea what this refers to.

Now I understand!

Unfortunately, I do not believe that it is possible to have a cell contain
both.

If your concern is that a worksheet is limited to 256 columns, consider
transposing your design, so that your column data is entered in rows, and
vice versa.
