I just wanted to thank all regular contributors, both past & present,
for the time & patience they've devoted to making this NG such a useful
resource. The reason I've been a lurker for the last month or so is
that almost all of the problems I've encountered have already been
dealt with here!

I'm currently working with a friend on developing an application for
scoring flights at my gliding (sailplane/soaring) club here in the UK.
Since the pilots themselves will be inputting their flight data, a
principal concern of ours has been to make the system as robust as
possible, with extensive validation checks etc. Watch this space ...

With best wishes

Nigel

Thanks for posting, Nigel.

You (and other lurkers) are very welcome to post specific questions, here,
and if you are able to find the answers you need that's great also.

Smooth sailing

BWAHAHAHAHA. "The universe keeps coming up with smarter and smarter
idiots who break my app." Some developer or other. <smile>

I have always worked with the premise that I can and will
develop the "Fool Proof System".

The definition of a "Fool Proof System" is:

Some Fool will come along and prove me wrong.

Smooth Sailing!
